Recipe Index

This Straight from the Farm recipe index is a great place to start if you’re new to the blog.  It’s also a useful tool for finding ideas for your more unusual farmers market finds or CSA shares.  The mission here at SFTF is to encourage readers to explore the bounty right outside their door in the farming and gardening community around them.  Even in the heart of America’s fifth largest city, Philadelphia, there are several local farmers involved in small-scale intensive urban agriculture enterprises.  Supporting this diveristy in our local food systems is what drives my passion when creating recipes.  For this reason, I’ve organized this index by the fresh produce featured in each dish, keeping the focus on locally harvested vegetables and fruits.
